Youth Unlimited Network

What We Do

At Youth Unlimited Network, we drive youth-centered transformation across Botswana and beyond by tackling today’s most urgent social and environmental challenges. Our work sits at the intersection of climate action, heritage preservation, inclusive tourism, and youth empowerment.

We believe in solutions led by communities, informed by local knowledge, and driven by young people.

Climate Action & Resilience

We empower communities to adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change through:

  • Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) initiatives
  • Climate-smart innovations in agriculture and energy
  • Environmental education and community-based conservation
  • Youth-led campaigns for climate justice and sustainability

Heritage & Culture Preservation

We champion the preservation and celebration of Botswana’s diverse heritage through:

  • Supporting youth in documenting and reviving indigenous practices
  • Promoting intergenerational knowledge sharing
  • Advocating for the protection of cultural landscapes and historic sites

Inclusive Tourism Development

We promote sustainable and inclusive tourism that benefits local communities by:

  • Developing community-based tourism models
  • Training youth in eco-tourism, storytelling, and heritage guiding
  • Facilitating partnerships between youth entrepreneurs and tourism stakeholders

Youth Leadership & Innovation

We cultivate confident, values-driven young leaders through:

  • Mentorship, character-building, and civic education programs
  • Youth entrepreneurship and digital skills development
  • Platforms for youth to influence policy and drive social change
